Hello Fellow Anglers!

Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013

Hello Fellow Anglers! I hope you’ve all bee enjoying Snapper and Pompano season! There have been some reports of some real beauties pulled out of the water lately, and I hope it’s sparked fish fever for you! Also, with the chilly, rainy season, it’s time to start searching for those Shark, Mutton and Grouper! If you’ve always wanted a shark on your wall, in your soup bowl, or just want to feel the fight of it on your line, now’s the time to get out and see what you can pull in.

As the season’s temperature drops, so, of course does the temperature of the water. This allows those more cold-blooded fish to make their way toward the surface searching for food. Next, you’ll want to make sure you have the food they are looking for. The best bait for Shark this time of year are of course, live bait. They like something warmer and tastier and full of more fight than the prey they are used to having lately, such as LadyFish, Tarpon and even Jack Crevalle.

This bait is fun to catch all by itself, but if you are aiming for a big guy like a Shark, Ladies, Tarpons and Jacks are the “road to gold” as they say. If you just don’t have the time to catch the live bait yourself, we here at Book N’ Hook are more than willing to point you in the right direction for great bait, supply it ourselves, or even take you out to the richest parts of Florida to get you the very best bait on our way out to the sea for some epic angling.

Don’t forget you can charter the best boats here are Book N’ Hook, because the last thing you want to worry about is being stuck at sea and being forced to fish for your lunch rather than being out there and having the luxury of picking the perfect fish for your wall, platter, or photo album.

See our site for details, pricing and instructions on how to book the fishing trip of a lifetime for you, your fishing buddies your family’s tour!
